LeFranc 3-Hour Gilding Size is an oil- and solvent-based adhesive suitable for both interior and exterior gilding applications. This size is designed for projects requiring a shorter working schedule, reaching the proper gilding tack in approximately 2–3 hours and remaining open for gilding for about 3 hours or longer.
The reliable tack time makes this size ideal for medium-sized projects or situations where a faster turnaround is needed while still allowing sufficient working time for accurate leaf placement. Once the gilding process is complete, the surface should be allowed to cure for approximately 7–10 days before applying a protective sealer.
