Color Charts

Sepp Leaf Products offers color charts designed to help artists and gilders compare the appearance of different metal leaf products and decorative materials. Many of these charts feature handmade samples of actual leaf, oil gilded on white paper to provide an accurate representation of color and finish. Gold leaf charts typically include information such as alloy composition, grams per 1,000 leaves, and fine gold content. The information provided by manufacturers is averaged and is intended for general reference only, not for assay purposes.

A variety of color charts are available for different product lines including Manetti, Crocodile, Monarch, Dauvét, Brambilla, and Chinese gold leaf, as well as charts for Nazionale composition metal leaf, variegated leaf, colored silver leaf, mica powders, burnish clays, and Dux burnish sealers. Printed charts are available for comparative reference, while hand-gilded charts featuring real leaf samples may also be ordered for a more accurate representation of the materials. Complete sets of charts are also available, providing a comprehensive reference for professionals working with gilding materials and decorative finishes.
